Description:

Twelve red-sealed charters (shuinjo) issued by multiple generations of the Tokugawa clan.  Includes a November 1591 missive from Tokugawa Ieyasu granting ten koku* of land within the Mizuhata section of the Adachi district to the temple.

*Here, one koku indicates the amount of land needed to produce enough rice to feed a single person for one year (one koku 180 L).
