Description:

This group of Buddhist icons is located in Fukujuan, a Buddhist temple near the Arakawa River.

The collection enshrines 103 wooden and metal statues that were collected from sacred sites dedicated to Kannon in Saigoku, Bando, and Chichibu in the mid-Edo period. It features the Nyoirin Kannon (Cintāmaṇicakra) as its central piece. The central Buddhist image is 14.5 centimeters tall, with the largest reaching 43 centimeters. The collection has an average height of 25 centimeters.

Having survived many floods, this monument stands as a treasured testament to the persistence of folk beliefs.
